JConnekt - Integration Engine on Joomla!

Hi this is a simple attempt to clarify the difference between JConnekt and JConnect.

Ok I'll start like this; JConnekt is derived from JConnect. Then what is this JConnect? Yes some might be familiar with that name if they keep up with Joomla!'s Blog or Google Summer of Code (GSOC) 2009. JConnect is a GSOC project on Joomla!. It's main purpose was to build an Elgg bridge. I've tried some different methods to do that. And after that I thought to implement a new Engine for Integrating Applications. So that's the brief Introduction of JConnect.

Then what is JConnekt 

When I was developing JConnect at the GSOC I was not aware of marketing strategies (actually I don't care much for it). So JConnect is just a name that came to mind and I just used it as a tentative name. Consideration for changing it to JConnekt began after the end of GSOC. The reason; there are some other brand names named JConnect on the Internet. If you google for it you could find them. So I couldn't get a domain name with JConnect nor a Twitter profile. I couldn't keep going with the name JConnect, while at the same time I did not want to change the name because people knew my project as JConnect. So I came up with this nice idea to rename it to JConnekt, still preserving the pronunciation of the word JConnect. So the continuation of JConnect is now named as JConnekt.

Confusing code?

When you go through the code base and some of the options at the JConnekt admin console you might find the name 'JConnect'. That is just because It takes lot of time to convert all the JConnect related words, and I have spent more time improving the code base, rather than cleaning up trivial typos.

With next released you might get rid of this as well.

I hope my attempt to clarify between JConnekt and JConnect helps with any possible confusion. And for others I guess they have gained some historical background of JConnekt.
